When a Science Institution asked for a large scale solar system model to be used in their on-site television studio, FX Models was able to create it quickly and employ its own astronomer/president to paint the planets accurately! Each planet was an acrylic sphere with mounting brackets in the top for hanging within the studio. Saturn's Rings were a single sheet of circular cut acrylic sheet attached to the main planet via stand-offs.
