1/300 Scale Ohio Class Submarine

The Ohio class submarine in this scale has a wealth of top deck detail that gives the model wonderful showability. Subtley engraved, the lines on this model portray the submarine in a way that is elegant and artistic. Take a look at the photos below to see the mastering process and finished photos of one of the models out of the molds.

Overall image of the master on the lasercutter post-engrave process. The Sail was attached for the picture only. White area just below the sail is an area of the master that was briefly re-worked after a primer coat had been applied.

This view looking down on the sail and deck arrangement shows the safety track, sail detail and forward hatch area. A mist coat of primer was applied accounting for the appearance of light and dark lines of engraved detail. It is entirely uniform in reality and looks crisp.

This is an overall view of a finished 1/300 model. This one was finished in as-delivered colors. Note the specification plate which comes with the model. The only thing NOT shown is the acrylic cover which was removed for the photo.
