CGI Sample Projects

Below are some images from projects we have been working on that are publicly viewable. This section will grow as we wade through our work and put those items up here that are available.

A research submarine plowing into silt and rocks at the edge of an undersea cliff.

(Scene still from a production to be aired this year)

Submarine sitting on bottom amid mud and silt

(Scene still from a production to be aired this year)

This digital model was created for use in an animation where a little toy submarine gets dropped into water and goes chugging along. It is modeled after a real toy but the real toy cannot do what must be done.

Another view showing the back side with the rudder and propeller. Everything is rigged for running! The seams in the plastic halves are all modeled and there are even screws holding the halves together that you can just barely see in the first picture.

Pitts Special Biplane for Magazine article

Pitts Special port side view

Keypad with a pair of dividers. Part of animation where the dividers are used to press a button.

Starboard Sail of NR-1 submarine showing some of the rivet and paint relief detail on the digital model.

Just a fun construction block item to study plastic textures and translucency.

After creating countless little separate blocks, we started 'building' things. I must admit it got addictive!

Squirtgun product piece. Note the seams in the plastic are reproduced. Actually quite a detailed model, created as a NURBS model and most of it left that way.

Another shot of the squirt gun.

Port Side View of NR-1 Submarine Digital Model animation created for a Navy presentation

Stern view of the model. Snip from animation. We know props dont make bubbles per se but it was fun to make it happen anway!

An old brass prop !
