Sometimes, the model is made to look more like an actual working boat in appearance. This model is in the process of finishing and weathering. The client requested a boat that looks like the real boats look. Oxidation streaks and waterline weathering are present on this boat. There is no rust. Electric Boat does not make boats that rust!
Our apologies for the lesser quality of these particular shots. They were taken with an ailing digital camera that is covered in dust and paint of several previous projects!
